Booming Brisbane

Brisbane once had a reputation for being a little city with a slightly parochial feel. Well not anymore. With her newly found cosmopolitan edge and population booming, Brisbane is rapidly catching up with her big sisters, Melbourne and Sydney. Whilst it's true that Brisbane has successfully shaken off her small town atmosphere, she hasn't done so to the cost of what makes the Queensland capital so unique, and charming historical sites remain, right next to the attractions that lie in the shadows of the spanking new CBD's towers. Downtown Brisbane is always lively and a beauty to behold at night.
